Wired inPOS (GMP3) Setup

Install the RoxOKCinPos program on the till's Windows PC; the inPOS fiscal POS connects to that PC over the local network, receipts sent from RoxPos print on the device, and the payment plus receipt, Z and EKÜ numbers are written to the bill automatically.

Wired inPOS (GMP3) Setup

Download RoxOKCinPos

⚠️ This program is only for the wired (GMP3) connection; it is not needed for wireless (TSM). Extract the zip to a permanent folder on the local disk (e.g. C:\RoxOKCinPos) and open BENIOKU.txt first: step-by-step setup is in KILAVUZ.txt and FAQs in SSS.txt (in Turkish). If "Windows protected your PC" appears, the file is not harmful: choose "More info → Run anyway".

Setup Steps

1. Requirements

  • The program is only for the wired (GMP3) connection. If you use inPOS wirelessly (TSM), no program is needed; the device pulls the bill from RoxPos itself.
  • A Windows 10 / 11 till PC (32- or 64-bit). The program runs as 32-bit because the inPOS library is 32-bit only; it also runs fine on 64-bit Windows.
  • The Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 and 2013 x86 runtimes. A freshly installed Windows does not have them; gereksinimleri-kur.bat in the package or the program's 'Gerekenleri kur' (Install requirements) button installs both (internet required).
  • The inPOS device and the till PC must be on the same local network, and the till PC needs a fixed IP from the router: the device always connects to that IP.

2. Download and Prepare the Program

  • Download the RoxOKCinPos zip with the button on this page and extract it to a permanent folder on the local disk (e.g. C:\RoxOKCinPos). Do not run it from a network share or the Downloads folder.
  • Inside the zip: BENIOKU.txt to open first, KILAVUZ.txt for step-by-step setup and pairing, SSS.txt for frequently asked questions, plus the setup scripts (.bat) and the eslestirme (pairing) folder. The documents and the program are in Turkish.
  • Run gereksinimleri-kur.bat; afterwards kitaplik-denetimi.bat should report 'SONUÇ: kurulum tamam' (setup complete).
  • Right-click guvenlik-duvari-izni.bat and choose 'Run as administrator': because the device connects to the PC, Windows Firewall must allow incoming connections. If Windows asks on first launch, choosing 'Allow' also works.

3. Set It Up in the RoxPos Panel

  • Settings ▸ POS Integration ▸ inPOS ▸ terminal: choose 'Wired (GMP3)' as the connection type and enter the device's serial number.
  • In the IP field enter the TILL PC's IP address, not the device's. The port is 59000 (if left empty the panel saves 59000; 7500 is Ingenico's port).
  • Save. On the wired connection the payment type is chosen in RoxPos and is required (cash, card or meal card).

4. Pair the Device with the Till PC (Once)

  • Pairing is done once per till PC. The pairing tool uses the same port, so close RoxOKCinPos first (Exit on the icon next to the clock).
  • On the PC, open eslestirme\inposgmp3.exe from the package: IP = this PC's IP, Port = 59000 (same as the panel), the device's serial no. and the application no.
  • The application no. is how the device recognises the RoxPos program; the same number goes into the pairing tool, the device and the program. On test devices it is 1; for production devices get the number inPOS assigned to RoxPos from our support team during setup.
  • On the device: Servis → 0.Diğer → 3.Harici Uygulamalar → 1.Uygulama Eşle (the device menus are in Turkish); enter the application no., the PC's IP and the port. For access to the service menu, contact your device supplier or authorised service.
  • On the 'Giriş tuşuna basınız' screen, first press Enter on the device, then immediately click 'Eşle' (Pair) on the PC; both should show 'Eşleme başarılı' (pairing successful). If 'Eşleme hatası: 1012' appears, try once more.
  • Pair again if the till PC's IP, the port or the application no. changes, or if the device is replaced or reset.

5. Open the Program and Sign In

  • Open RoxOKCinPos.exe and sign in with your RoxPos username and password (a separate user for the till is recommended).
  • If the panel has a single wired inPOS, the program selects it by itself; if there are several, use 'Cihaz seç' (Select device) to pick the one paired with this PC. When the device connects, the screen shows 'Bağlı — inPOS <serial no.>' (Connected).
  • When you close the window the program keeps running as the icon next to the clock and starts with Windows by itself. Icon colour: green ready, yellow printing a receipt, red attention.

6. Test and Use

  • On a table, choose the payment type and take the payment: the receipt prints on the device, for card payments the card is read on the device, and the receipt no., Z no. and EKÜ no. are written to the bill.
  • Yes. Since the program at the till prints the receipt, that PC and the program must be running; the web panel and the mobile app send the same way. The program starts with Windows and runs as the icon next to the clock. A receipt sent while the program is closed waits and prints once the program connects.
  • Online order receipts also go to this program's queue: manually from the order details with 'Send to POS (Receipt)', or automatically if 'Auto-send to POS (Receipt)' is on.

Why Use It?

Frequently Asked Questions

When is this program needed?

Only when you use inPOS with the wired (GMP3) connection. With the wireless (TSM) connection the device pulls the bill from RoxPos itself through inPOS TSM, so nothing has to be installed at the till. The connection type is chosen per terminal in Settings ▸ POS Integration ▸ inPOS.

How is it different from the Ingenico program? Why does the device connect to the PC?

With inPOS GMP3 the direction is reversed: RoxOKCingenico connects to the Ingenico device, whereas RoxOKCinPos waits on the till PC and the inPOS device connects to the PC. That is why the panel holds the till PC's IP and port (59000) rather than the device's, the PC gets a fixed IP and the firewall must allow it.

Which IP address and port do I enter in the panel?

The till PC's IP address (not the device's) and the port you used for pairing. The recommended port is 59000; if you leave it empty the panel saves 59000. 7500 is Ingenico's port. If the IP in the panel is not this PC's, the program says so on screen.

When do I need to pair again?

Pairing is once per till PC. Pair again if the PC's IP, the port or the application no. changes, if the device is replaced or reset, or if the program moves to another PC. RoxOKCinPos must be closed while pairing.

What is the application no. and where do I get it?

It is the number by which the inPOS device recognises the external program; the same number goes into the pairing tool, the device and the program. On test devices it is 1; for production devices get the number inPOS assigned to RoxPos from our support team during setup. Unlike Ingenico, there is no exe fingerprint (hash) registration.

What does the 'Visual C++ missing' warning mean?

The 32-bit inPOS library needs the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 and 2013 x86 runtimes, which a freshly installed Windows does not have. The program's 'Gerekenleri kur' button or gereksinimleri-kur.bat installs both (internet required; without winget, Microsoft's download page opens). Once installed, the program connects by itself.

Must the program stay open on the computer?

Yes. Since the program at the till prints the receipt, that PC and the program must be running; the web panel and the mobile app send the same way. The program starts with Windows and runs as the icon next to the clock. A receipt sent while the program is closed waits and prints once the program connects.

What happens if the amount exceeds the device's receipt limit?

The device does not issue a receipt above the limit. RoxPos removes the plain receipt option on the payment screen; nothing is sent without a customer with a tax ID (VKN / TCKN), a document type (e-Archive / e-Invoice / Invoice information slip) and a document no. The invoice is issued in your e-Archive / e-Invoice software and the device prints an information slip with that document's number. The limit is read from the device; no fixed amount is assumed.

How are online order receipts printed?

With wired inPOS, online order receipts also go to this program's queue: send them manually from the order details with 'Send to POS (Receipt)', or turn on 'Auto-send to POS (Receipt)' in Online Order Automation to print them automatically. The program takes an online receipt when no table job is waiting; it is printed with the cash payment type, and no receipt is issued for orders paid by meal card.

What happens if the device turns off or the network drops?

The program saves each step before sending it to the device; when the connection returns or the program reopens, the job continues from where it stopped after checking with the device. A step with an uncertain result is never blindly repeated and the same receipt is never printed twice on its own. If the state cannot be known for sure, the screen shows 'Dikkat' (Attention) and asks you to check the device's last receipt.

Can I cancel a printed receipt?

A job not yet sent to the device can be cancelled from the pending job panel on the table. A printed fiscal receipt is a legal document and cannot be cancelled from RoxPos.

What do I do if I move the program to another computer?

Install the package on the new computer (requirements, firewall permission), change the terminal's IP address in the panel to the new computer's, and pair the device with the new computer again. Only one computer's program can work with the same device at a time.

Which inPOS devices does it work with?

It works with the inPOS M530, over inPOS's GMP3 external application connection. If you use another inPOS model, check with our support team before setting it up.

Where are the setup documents?

Inside the zip: BENIOKU.txt to open first, KILAVUZ.txt for step-by-step setup and pairing, SSS.txt for frequently asked questions, plus the setup scripts (.bat) and the eslestirme (pairing) folder. The documents and the program are in Turkish.
