Feature

Menu API
Give your own website read-only access to your menu

Categories, products, prices, ingredients and allergens on your own site: one key per branch, only what your QR menu shows; no photos, costs or stock.

Menu API

Key Highlights

Read-only — only what is public on your QR menu: categories, product names, descriptions, ingredients (8 languages), price, currency, allergen codes, order and options.

One key per branch — created under Settings ▸ Integration ▸ Other Integrations and shown once; Renew invalidates the old key immediately.

Safe by design — the key goes only in the X-Api-Key header; a key in the URL is rejected. Limit of 60 requests per minute.

You stay in control — turn it on or off; the last use and requests in the last 24 hours are shown in the panel.

What Is It For?

Feeding a custom menu page built by your agency with RoxPos data

Publishing allergen and ingredient information on the website from the same source

Frequently Asked Questions

What data does the Menu API return?

Only what your QR menu shows: categories, product names, descriptions, ingredients (8 languages), price, currency, allergen codes, order and options. Hidden products and categories, photos, costs, stock and sales are not returned.

How do I connect it to my website?

In Settings ▸ Integration ▸ Other Integrations ▸ Menu API turn access on and create a key. Your website fetches the menu from its own server with GET https://api.roxpos.com/open/v1/menu, sending the key in the X-Api-Key header; never put the key in browser code.

Is an extra licence needed?

No. The Menu API is available to every active account; turning access on or off and renewing the key is done by users with integration-settings permission.
